As a citizen of Alexandria a
nd having the concern of the rest of the citizens, I, Edwin J Romero, propose myself to make T.C. Williams High School the school that every citizen is willing to be the perfect school. Perfection is when you enjoy doing what you do, perfection does not come from money, perfection comes from effort, effort that leads you to success in life. T.C.W. with more focus on its students and setting goals could make your child, our students the most important business man in the future, that student could be our future, the key for a better future with more chances in life than the present day. Teachers in our school can vary fun and learning to make your child the perfect child. Every students can be measured by their wants, by this a mean that it will be up to them if at the end of the school year they want either make a test or a presentation. Will I make money incentives for students? the answer to that question is NO, I will not spend any money for students to do well at school. What I will do with money is that I will create some programs to measure every student skills, take their abilities out and make a good use of it. Our school depending on students progress could compete against other schools. Some other incentives will depend on the students interest about school, if the student does not want to do anything without any excuse or reason that can excuse it, T.C.W. will take actions about it with parents concern, but if programs in the school do not work, that students could be taken/treated according to the law. Level of challenges in T.C. goes with the effort and interest that every students put to their studies. If any course is not challenging enough for any student, that student will be moved to an upper level which can challenge him/he at a considerable way. The main focus of T.C. will be in the improvement of students grade. Each year, T.C. will be providing an scholarship of $1,000, in which seniors as juniors and sophomores can compete to win. If any students start wining in sophomore year and win again at the senior year, the money will be summing and at his/her senior year her could get it. T.C. is not in my hands, T.C. is in students' hand and parents as well.
